There are many reasons to specify corrugated or materials with a composite make up. Additional strength with lightness is easily achieved and complex inexpensive packs and pack fitments can be manufactured.
As with plain boards, the fluted materials are available with different surface layers varying brown / white and may be printed to a high definition. Often these specialist fluted materials offer cost savings in comparison with solid boards.
Microflute Corrugated
We believe that this is the most exciting cardboard packaging medium around at the moment. It prints extremely well because of its flat surface and it is strong and rigid because of its corrugations.
It can be used both for display on a retail shelf and/or transit, sometimes making it possible to save the cost of another shipper carton.
